Study Links Diet Soft Drinks With Cardiac Risk

Oh man what are they going to discover next. You would think drinking a diet soda is better than a sugary regular soda, but guess what, Health Day reports "Drinking more than one soda a day -- even if its the sugar-free diet kind -- is associated with an increased incidence of metabolic syndrome, a cluster of risk factors linked to the development of diabetes and cardiovascular disease, a study finds"




Although the report goes on to say it is not know if the increase in risk is due to the the persons diet or the actual content of the drink, it is thought perhaps the individuals that consume a lot of softdrinks also are on a un healthy diet. [you can read the full report here]
